Privacy Notice
Last updated: 12 October 2026
These terms apply to the ibogaine.org.nz website and Treatment Companion App. "Ibogaine NZ", "we", "us" and "our" mean Ibogaine NZ Ltd. "Customer" means a Practitioner, Clinic or Network that subscribes to the app. "Customer Data" means information that a Customer or its authorised users enter or upload to the app.
Patient clinical information
The Customer decides what patient clinical information is entered into its account and who is authorised to use it. We do not independently collect patient clinical information for Ibogaine NZ Ltd's own purposes. When the Customer or an authorised user enters or uploads information, the app receives, stores and processes it to provide, secure, support and maintain the service for that Customer, or as required by law.
Customer-entered records may include patient details, health and medication history, assessment answers, clinician-entered ECG/QTc and other readings, laboratory results, session and follow-up notes, adverse-event records, clinical decisions, uploaded files and related audit history. The Customer controls its records and the users who can access them. Records are not made available to other Practitioner, Clinic or Network Customers. A patient may access their own record only if the Customer enables and authorises that access.
We do not use identifiable patient clinical records for our own advertising, unrelated analytics, research, cross-customer benchmarking or AI/model training. We may access or process records as needed to provide Customer-requested support, protect the service, follow the Customer's instructions, or comply with law.
Other information and service providers
We also handle account and contact details, subscription and billing information, support messages, and technical or security information generated when the website or app is used. We use this information to administer accounts, provide the service, respond to enquiries, manage billing, maintain security and meet legal obligations.
We may use contracted providers to host, secure and operate the service. They may process information only as needed to provide their services to us. Information about our providers and where data is processed can be requested through the Contact Enquiry or Suggestion Form on ibogaine.org.nz. We may also disclose information where required or permitted by law.
Security, retention and your rights
We use safeguards designed to protect information from loss and unauthorised access, use or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security. To ask about a security or privacy matter, use the Contact Enquiry or Suggestion Form on ibogaine.org.nz.
When a trial ends without a licence being activated, the account may become read-only and records are not deleted at that point. For other account closures or retention and deletion questions, contact us through the forms on ibogaine.org.nz. We handle records under the Customer agreement and applicable law.
If you are a patient and want to access or correct a clinical record, contact the Practitioner or organisation responsible for your care first. You may also contact Ibogaine NZ Ltd through the Contact Enquiry or Suggestion Form on ibogaine.org.nz; we will direct or assist your request as appropriate. You may also raise a privacy concern with the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
We may update this notice and will post the current version on ibogaine.org.nz with a revised date.
